OUR DAY

At Home

I provide a variety of activities for the children to do - Colouring, painting, cutting and pasting,  playdoh,  jigsaws, Lego, Kinex, Hama beads, stories, etc.

There are plenty of games for all ages - Pairs, Animal Dominoes, Jitterbugs, Monopoly, Uno, Boggle are just a few of them.

There is a computer to play educational games and to do research and Word Processing on and a Sega Megadrive and Gameboy if parents give permission for their use.  Also a Bubble console, V-Tech My learning pal, Leapster TV and Leap Pad for younger children.

For the babies I have play gyms, an activity mat, lots of rattles, soft books, pop up toys, musical toys etc.

For young children there are dolls and prams, dressing up clothes, cars and garage, trains, kitchen and food, Happy Street, Dolls House, animals/dinosaurs and jungle mat, etc.

REGULAR OUTINGS

Playgroup

I take the children to Carer and toddlers in Christwell Church.

Library

Usually once a week in Brynhyfryd.  The children can colour printed activity sheets.  They can pick a selection of books to take back to my home.  During the holidays there is usually a Story Time or activity session.

Park

If it is dry we go to the park most days.  Montana, Cwmbwrla, Manselton, Hafod, Brynmelyn and Cwm Level parks are all within easy walking distance.  Occasionally we go to Llewellyn park.    

DAY TRIPS

Swansea Beach, Victoria/Brynmill/Singleton parks, Swansea Library, Museum, soft play centre etc.
